Mr. Lu Ming

Mr. Lu Ming (Yao Ting Ming), North American Chinese traveler and photographer, is the President of China Photographic Association, a fellow member of China Photographers Association, a council of China Art Photography Association, and a senior member of China Folklore Photographic Association.

Mr. Lu Ming, passion about travel and photography, has travelled almost all the famous Mountains and Rivers in China since the 1970s. He started his world tour in 1992. Since then, he has traveled nearly 100 countries and regions. His photographs have been published in dozens of domestic and overseas newspaper and magazines. Worked together with other photographers, he successfully organized a thematic photo exhibition called ˇ°Li Jang 2.3 Earthquake Documentaryˇ± at the Shanghai Art Gallery.

Within 7 consecutive years, Mr. Lu Ming visited Tibetan area 8 times, traveled 80,000 kilometres, reached the highest elevation of 6,000 meters, spent more than 300 days in Tibet, and completed the book "Crossing the Tibetan Plateau" in 2004.

Starting early 2001, Lu Ming began his North American continent photography walk journey across Canada and U.S., explored the Antarctic, and visited the Arctic 8 times. In 2009, he finished his last photo of the journey, completed the book "Cross the America" for his 8 years of accomplishments.
